Who We Are
About W.A.C.A.BC
We Africans Cultural Association of British Columbia — uniting the African diaspora through culture, community, and shared purpose.
Born from a Shared Dream
We Africans Cultural Association of British Columbia was founded on February 24, 2025, by a group of passionate Africans in British Columbia who believed that a united community is an unstoppable force.
Recognizing the need for a dedicated space where Africans could gather, celebrate their heritage, and support one another, our founders came together with one shared vision — to build a home away from home for every African in BC.
From that founding moment, we have been dedicated to celebrating our heritage, supporting one another, and building a future where every African in BC feels at home.
